mother nature is drunk. it was 30 degrees in NJ last night. that’s scarf weather, not may weather. the milder temperature yesterday did at least give me a good excuse to wear my uggs, and to wear my grace and lace dainty boot socks. then again if you re like me you don’t need a reason to wear boots anymore than you need a reason to wear flip flops.

grace and lace boot socks are exactly what they sound like…socks for under your boots. there are a variety of styles for different seasons, but the lacey boot socks i reviewed are perfect for spring and summer. their thin lacy design wont cause your feet to sweat (eeew) like traditional socks do in any weather over freezing. they have a chevron type lace design, with girly lace up top and two cute button accents on the outer side which matched my bailey buttons perfectly.

while they are called boot socks you don’t need to restrain their use for boots. you can wear them as a funky look with flats, too. I’m 5 foot six (and a half) and as you can see the socks come up pretty high if i stretch them up. this awesome ability not only means that they wont get lost under your heels inside your boots like regular socks (i HATE that) but they also can be worn with a wide variety of boot heights including your tallest boots. well, unless you have the pretty woman thigh high boots but if you re wearing them you really aren’t concerned about socks most likely.

grace and lace not only carries boot socks, but also leg warmers, and little girl snd even BABY style (ahh the cuteness). you can like their facebook page, follow on twitter, and of course shop their etsy shop! one lucky reader will also win a pair of lacey boot socks below!
